Randolph School Announces Alexis Hoffman as the new Head Coach Coach

Randolph School is proud to announce Alexis Hoffman as the new Head Coach of the Raiders Cheer program.

"We are excited to welcome Alexis to our Raider coaching family as our new Varsity Cheer Head Coach," says Director of Athletics, Mike Morris. "Her passion for cheer and mentoring young people are the cornerstones of her approach in leading this program. We are excited to see the future of Randolph Cheer."

For Alexis, the opportunity to lead the program was one she knew she wanted the moment she heard about it.

"When I learned about the opportunity to lead the Randolph cheerleading program, I knew it was a role I wanted to pursue," Hoffman said. "Being a cheerleader had such a positive impact on my life, teaching me the value of teamwork, confidence and leadership. Some of my favorite memories growing up came from cheerleading, from team bonding and game days to competitions and forming friendships that have lasted well beyond high school. Many of those experiences shaped who I am today, and I'm excited for the opportunity to help create that same kind of experience for our cheerleaders while helping them grow both on and off the sidelines."

Hoffman's own cheer journey began early. She discovered her love for the sport at a summer cheer camp in elementary school and never looked back — cheering through middle school before joining both the sideline and competition cheer teams in high school. Alongside her school teams, she also competed as an All-Star cheerleader from middle school through her senior year, competing on multiple national championship-winning teams.

Hoffman's approach centers on creating a space where every athlete can grow — both as a cheerleader and as a person.

"My coaching philosophy is to create a positive environment where every athlete feels supported, challenged, and empowered to do their best," she said. "I want them to continually develop their cheer skills while building trust, accountability, and

resilience along the way. Above all, I want them to enjoy being part of the team, support one another, and proudly represent Randolph by bringing energy and enthusiasm to every game."

Looking ahead to her first season, Hoffman's focus goes beyond the sidelines.

"My goal for the program this year is for the team to have fun, create lasting memories, and take pride in promoting school spirit at Randolph," she said. "I hope by the end of the season they've built meaningful friendships, grown together as a team, and leave the season more confident than when they started."

Randolph is excited to see Hoffman's vision take shape and even more excited for what's ahead. She'll be joined on the sidelines by assistant coach Leighann Kemp, who also serves as a Learning Specialist in the Upper School.
