The Varsity Boys’ Wrestling team made program history at the Regional Duals on Saturday, January 10 at St. John Paul II. The Boys’ team finished 2nd in the Region 7 Duals. The top 2 finish qualifies the Varsity Boys’ Wrestling team for the Sectional Duals on Wednesday, January 14 at Deshler High School. This is the first time in program history the Boys’ team has qualified for the Sectional Duals.

Head Boys’ Coach Matt Stroe has been very pleased with how far this team and program has come in the last couple of years. “We could not be prouder of this team and everything they have accomplished. Our seniors have been with us through the growing pains of building a new program, and their commitment, leadership, and resilience have helped create something truly special at Randolph.”

“We set out this season with a clear goal: qualify for the State Duals Tournament. That goal has been achieved. Our wrestling program is now one of the top 16 Class 4A dual teams in the state! Now, our focus shifts to the next challenge, earning our way to Birmingham and competing for the title of best dual team in the state.”

The Boys’ Wrestling team hits the road to make the trip to Deshler High School on Wednesday, January 14 to compete at the Sectional Duals.
