On Tuesday, November 19th, the Randolph School community celebrated Jackson Weglage’s signing to play baseball at Brevard College. Jackson’s remarkable talent and relentless dedication to the game have earned him this well-deserved opportunity to compete at the collegiate level. He has also left an indelible mark on Randolph’s baseball program.
Jackson’s accomplishments are nothing short of extraordinary. As a member of the USA Prime National Team, he has earned 15 All-Tournament Team selections through Perfect Game. His commitment to excellence extends beyond the diamond, as Jackson received the highest academic scholarship offered by Brevard College.
Brevard Head Baseball Coach, Vinny Carone, shared his excitement about Jackson joining the program: “The hard work and dedication Jackson has applied to his craft has paid off tremendously. Although we are excited to bring Jackson’s talents to the team, we are even more excited to bring in a phenomenal family like the Weglages. Their personality and character stood out through the recruitment process, and they will be a great addition to the Brevard Baseball Family. Congratulations, Jackson, and we look forward to seeing you in the mountains next year!”
Let’s all join together in congratulating Jackson Weglage and wishing him continued success as he begins this exciting new chapter at Brevard College. The Raider Nation is behind you, Jackson!
