On Tuesday, November 19, the Randolph School community celebrates a historic achievement as Andrew Hinson has officially signed his Letter of Intent to join the University of Alabama Golf program on a full athletic scholarship. Andrew’s relentless work ethic to the sport and exceptional talent have paved the way for him to compete at one of the premier collegiate golf programs in the nation.
Andrew’s accomplishments at Randolph are nothing short of extraordinary. He played an instrumental role in securing back-to-back AHSAA 5A Team State Championships and captured the AHSAA 5A Individual State Championship with stellar rounds of 74 and 66. His success extended beyond high school, as he excelled on the Junior Golf Tour, achieving a remarkable list of accolades:

Andrew’s consistent performances have earned him the prestigious distinction of AJGA Rolex All-American, ranking among the Top 15 junior golfers in the country according to the Junior Golf Scoreboard and Rolex AJGA Class of 2025 Rankings.
Randolph’s Director of Athletics and former Head Golf Coach, Mike Morris, reflected on Andrew’s journey, saying: "Andrew is in this position because of his work ethic. He worked. He worked every day at his craft. He made his teammates better both on and off the course. He has earned this opportunity, and I am incredibly proud of him."
