On August 27, 2010, the Randolph Raiders made their historic return to 11-man varsity football after a 31-year hiatus, hosting the Geraldine Bulldogs on the Garth Campus. Under the leadership of first-year head coach John Anderson, the Raiders embarked on a challenging journey in 3A Region 7, which featured tough competition from Geraldine, Brindlee Mountain, Madison Academy, Sardis, New Hope, Plainview, Sylvania, and Pisgah.

Randolph finished the season with a 3-7 record, showing growth as they averaged 15.5 points per game. Though the Raiders faced setbacks, the 2010 season laid the foundation for the program's resurgence and set the stage for the years to come.
