The Girls' and Boys' Tennis Teams won the Class 4A-5A Section 7 Championship on Tuesday, April 16. The Girls' Team won their second consecutive Sectional Championship while the Boy's Team won their first Sectional Championship since 2018.

Girls' Individual Results

#1 Girls, Lova Stenberg wins her first #1 singles championship by defeating the defending champ, Trish Bukenya, 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-8) in a 3rd set tiebreaker.

8th grader AK Jones was the #4 singles champion and 7th grader Valentina Bedoya-Roig was the #6 singles champion.

Boys' Individual Results

Paul Lee was the #3 singles champion. Jazz Dhaliwal was the #5 singles champion and Rudhra Patel was the #6 singles champion.

Paul Lee and Rudhra Patel were the #2 doubles champions, while Jazz Dhaliwal and Fawad Ismail were the #3 doubles champions.

The Raiders will compete next in the AHSAA State Tournament at the Mobile Tennis Center on Monday, April 22 and Tuesday, April 23.
