FOOTBALL TRAVELS TO PRICEVILLE FOR LAST REGION GAME

Football Travels to Priceville for Last Region Game

The Randolph Raiders (5-3, 5-1) are on the road this Friday night, October 27 to take on the Priceville Bulldogs (4-5, 4-2). The Raiders are coming off a 49-7 region win over New Hope. Priceville fell to Westminster Christian 36-29. The Raiders are entering their 4th overall matchup with Priceville and have a 1-2 record, including last year’s 35-21 loss.

Offensively, the Raiders were led by Senior running back/linebacker William Collins. Collins had 101 yards rushing with 3 touchdowns. Junior running back/defensive back Graham Batey, led the team in rushing with 133 yards on 9 carries with 1 touchdown. Junior quarterback William Mitchell also had 1 rushing touchdown on 8 carries for 128 yards. Mitchell also completed 17 of 24 passes for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns. Roan Campbell and Theo Reischauer each had a receiving touchdown.

William Collins and Thomas vonAhlefeld led the Raider defense. Davis Killingsworth and Hunter Wiggins each made big plays behind the line of scrimmage. Sophomore linebacker Bradford Hall played one of his best games of the season. The Raider defense forced 4 turnovers including an interception by Graham Batey.

Priceville is led by Senior running back Blitz Clemons and Senior quarterback Jake England. Defensively, the Bulldogs are anchored by defensive back Tyde Borden and defensive lineman Brody Oliver.

Kickoff is set for 7:00pm at Priceville. The winner of this region matchup will be the region runner-up and secure a first-round home playoff game.
