The boys take on an experienced Hazel Green team that is one of the top teams in the 6A-7A Region 8. Coach Michael Cagle had this to say about the matchup. “We look forward to the boys getting some experience during the first match of the season. We have a lot of determined student-athletes looking to push each other and improve every match.” The boys return Adi Gowda, Eli Hawari, Greyden Kutner, and Noble Ligon.

The girls come into the match being ranked 10th in the preseason coach’s poll. They will be going into the match led by three seniors Aayushi Patel, Lexa Matthews, and Greer Heritage. Coach Cagle is has high expectations for his seniors. “With the leadership of these three girls, we look forward to a successful season”, said Cagle.

The opening match will take place on Thursday, October 19 at the Pin Palace in Huntsville. The match begins at 3:30pm.
