There’s a new energy rippling through the sidelines at Randolph. Under the fresh leadership of first-year Head Coach Meredith Miller, the 2025–2026 Randolph Raiders Dance Team is poised to elevate school spirit like never before.
And trust us… these girls aren’t just here to dance. They’re here to make a statement.
The Raider Dance Team didn’t waste a moment this offseason. From high-energy summer camps to daily practices packed with new choreography, this group has been laying the groundwork for a show-stopping year. Spearheading this momentum are team captains Vivian Wiginton (Senior) and Elle Woodington (Junior), whose leadership and dedication have helped set the tone for a supportive, hard-working culture.
With six standout freshmen joining the squad, the team blends youthful excitement with seasoned experience—a balance Coach Miller calls “the heartbeat of what Raider spirit is all about.”
This year’s performance schedule is bigger and bolder. The Dance Team will showcase their talents at:
All Pep Rallies
Every Home Varsity Football Game
All Home Area Boys Basketball Games
Many Girls Area Basketball Games
Select Rivalry Basketball Games (Boys & Girls)
Coach Meredith Miller brings an unmatched level of expertise to the program. A former Division I Head Dance Coach at the University of North Carolina, her resume includes leading one of the most prestigious spirit programs in the country. But for Miller, Randolph is more than a new gig—it’s a calling.
“This program is about more than dancing—it’s about confidence, connection, and community,” Miller shared. “We want every Raider fan to feel the energy we bring, and we want to inspire the same level of enthusiasm for all athletic teams, male and female.”
Her coaching philosophy is rooted in excellence, empowerment, and enthusiasm—values that mirror the core of Randolph Athletics. She’s also making inclusivity a priority, welcoming dancers of all experience levels and backgrounds who share a love for performance and school pride.
This year, the team is taking its impact beyond the gym floor. In addition to performances, the Dance Team will engage in community outreach through:
Lower and Middle School Car Line Greets
UTCT Appearances
A Holiday Service Project
Coach Miller hopes this visibility will inspire younger Raiders and continue to weave school spirit into every layer of campus life.
Expect bold. Expect energetic. Expect fun. But more than anything, expect heart. This team is united in their mission to amplify Raider pride and they’re inviting the entire community to join in.
“We hope you’ll support this team as they bring the heat to the dance floor,” Miller said. “We’re not just here to cheer for others—we’re here to help set the tone for what it means to be a Raider.”
