The Randolph Raiders (4-3, 4-1) are back at home this Friday night, October 20, for Senior Night as they take on the New Hope Indians (3-4, 2-3). The Raiders are coming off a 75-13 region win over DAR last week. New Hope fell to region opponent St. John Paul II by a school of 68-37. The Raiders are entering their 10th overall matchup with New Hope and have a 4-5 record, including last year’s 52-12 victory.

Offensively, the Raiders were led by Senior running back/linebacker William Collins. Collins rushed for 112 yards and 3 touchdowns. Junior quarterback William Mitchell threw 3 touchdown passes to Hunter Wiggins, Roan Campbell, and Graham Batey. Freshman running back Lefebvre Watson recorded his first varsity touchdown on a 20-yard run. Noah Gaunt and Graham Batey each added a rushing touchdown.

Graham Batey and Walker Mitchell led the way for the Raider defense. Junior defensive back Graham Batey registered 2 interceptions, one of which he returned 69 yards for a touchdown. Freshman defensive back Walker Mitchell added 2 interceptions on the night. The Raider defense accounted for 6 interceptions. Hunter Wiggins returned an interception 30 yards for a score.

New Hope is led by Sophomore athlete Layton Pohl and Senior lineman Riley McGehee. McGehee is committed to play football for the U.S. Naval Academy. Dominick Scott and Dawson Cambron are playmakers on both sides of the ball for the Indians.

Kickoff is set for 7:00pm at SportsMed Field for Senior Night. We will be honoring our Seniors for all Fall Sports starting at 6:30pm.
