We hope you are enjoying your Fall Break! We are excited to bring you a quick look into some exciting things happening around campus this week as well as keep everyone aware of the upcoming events that are happening within Randolph Athletics.

First on the agenda is a night dedicated to the stars of tomorrow – our Middle School athletes! This Friday, the spotlight will shine brightly on the young and vibrant teams of RAP Volleyball, RAP Soccer, MS Cheer, MS Football, MS Cross Country, MS Swim & Dive, and MS Volleyball during the Middle School Recognition Night at the varsity football game. Any 5th-8th grade student who is involved in one of these programs who is planning to attend should meet at the flagpole by SportsMed Field at 6:30 PM. Recognition will take place before kick-off.

Parents, mark your calendars. For families with children in grades 3rd through 6th interested in participating in RAP Basketball, the Preseason Parent Orientation (PPO) is an essential gathering not to be missed. This informative session will be held on Wednesday, October 11th at 6:30 PM in the Lecture Hall of the Nichols Academic Building on the Garth Campus. Your presence will ensure a smooth and exciting transition into the much-anticipated basketball season for your student-athlete.



Another pivotal event for our sports parents is the Winter Sports PPO scheduled for Sunday, October 15th at 7:00 PM. This orientation will take place in the Shields-Jones Athletic Complex on the Garth Campus. It’s the perfect occasion to receive crucial information regarding the upcoming Winter sports season, foster connections with coaches, and meet fellow Raider parents. This event is for any 7th-12th grade student who is planning to participate in a Winter Sport at Randolph.

Congratulations are in order for our Volleyball team, who triumphantly secured victories in their last two games against Columbia and Lee. You can catch them back in action as they host New Hope on Monday, October 9th at 4:30 PM. We will also recognize our Seniors before the game.

The Cross Country team is not just racing; they are also hosting! The team is prepped and primed to host the Randolph Raiders XC Invitational on Saturday, October 14th at John Hunt Park. This is a great opportunity for the Randolph Community to come out and support your Raiders.

For our supporters who are out of town this Friday, fret not! You won’t have to miss the thrill and spills of the football game as we bring the action directly to you through Raider Vision. Be sure to tune in to the Randolph Raider YouTube Channel for a live broadcast of the game, and cheer for our team from wherever you are. The Raiders will take on regional foe, Madison County. Kick-off is at 7:00 PM.

Preview
The Randolph Raiders host the Madison County Tigers after coming off a Bye. The Tigers are coming off a 7-63 loss at Madison Academy.

“Coming off the bye week, we are as close to 100% healthy as we have been since Week 1. We were glad to be able to heal up, but we are really looking forward to getting back on the field. The last game didn’t end the way we wanted it to so we are eager to get back and strap it up again. Madison County comes in over Fall Break for a big region game and we are looking forward to kickoff,” – Head Coach David Lloyd
