The Randolph Raiders were proudly represented by Will Crocker at the AHSAA 1A-4A State Wrestling Meet last week at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville. Competing in the 165-pound division, Will showcased his growth in just his second year of wrestling, battling against the top 12 competitors in his weight class at the state level.

Will finished the tournament with one victory and two losses, securing a top 8 finish. His victory was a personal milestone, as he defeated Luke Gunning, an opponent he fell to last season at Sectionals. His two losses came against Tra’Mel McCoy, the eventual State Champion, and Hunter Abercrombie, who finished 3rd place in the division.

Will’s performance at the State Meet capped off another hard-fought season for Randolph Wrestling. The program continues to develop under the leadership of Coach Matt Stroe, Coach Pierce Erhardt, and Coach Brytt Davidson, who have been instrumental in guiding the team’s progress.

The future is bright for Will Crocker and Randolph Wrestling—and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for his senior year!
